Our company is in a phase of development where we, together with the Norwegian health care services, can concentrate on a diverse and innovative line of products directed towards the ever expanding frontier of the medical field of orthopedics and technical health care related products.

Since 1989, our commitment has been based on a close cooperation with orthopedic laboratories and governmental institutions as well as individuals directly involved with users of our articles. The interactive process has led to a complete line of practical solutions in the product development of forearm prosthesis, heating elements and motorized devices. Our main partners at the moment are major orthopedic labs in Norway and Denmark. We have also produced “custom made” products for several orthopedic laboratories in Sweden and Denmark.

Our  laboratory instruments include thermographic camera as well as equipment for documentation of skin surface temperature. This enables us to “custom fit” the thermal needs of the user. We also have the possibility to document heat generation.

As a company, Minitech AS has recently made substantial investments in highly advanced measuring devices and the latest in computer technologies.

Parallel to design and production, we have also engaged an electrical engineer to support our progress in microprocessor development. The new generation of processors suit perfectly for medical/technical equipment. They require very little current, they need very little space, and  can easily be mounted in a diversity of articles.

Minitech `s headquarters is 300 sq. meter lab situated in near vicinity of several medically related institutions. We are located on the shore line of Norway `s largest and Europe `s deepest lake, Mjøsa, just a few minutes from the town of Hamar, and just about a 90 minute drive north from Oslo.
